A Disciple Maker’s “Dream Question.”

20120418-081010.jpgLike Andrew who brought Peter to Christ, literally speaking, (John 1:41,42) you’ve recently “brought” someone to Christ by preaching the gospel (Mark 16:15), showing Christ’s love in tangible ways, (John 13:34,35) or by simply being salt and light. (Matthew 5:13,14)

Now, they come to you and ask, “How can I follow this Jesus that you follow? You perceive that it’s not a question of salvation, as they have already clearly shown signs of repentance and belief. You understand, that it’s more of a question as to what to do next. They are asking you, and looking to you for an answer.

What do you say, and what will you do?

Yours is a great question, as always, Miguel!

The inability of too many Jesus Followers, never mind cultural Christians, to know the answer and worse, practice one, is a current major failing in the Body of Christ that I know and love in Toronto, Canada. (I’ll let others speak about their own backyards.)

As a compelling answer to your question, I’ve not listened in 20 years to a more insightful, helpful or engaging video presentation than that you and your readers will discover at my Friend and Brother’s, Jim Klaas’ creative web site … especially his five, concluding action recommendations.

I highly recommend viewing this workshop to those who visit here because you are serious about actually doing and then, helping others do what Jesus commands each each of His real Followers in the Great Commission (Matthew 28-18-20). You’ll find it a few minutes well spent.

      Jim’s video is at http://www.devedinternational.net/fractal/mf/player.html .

      Blessings all,
      Gary in Toronto
